GOD, THE MAN AND THE SMITH

By the will of God we’re all different, but I’m sure that each of us is unique and precious to Him. Sincerely, I confess that since very little I had the privilege of living extraordinary experiences that I haven’t search for, but that led me to understand and appreciate the Love that God has for us. Actually, I feel very privileged, so I emphasize, above all, the soft Love and the discreet protection that God has always dedicated me. Thus, in the worst moments of my life, when sometimes I distracted myself and felt alone, He was always quietly present at my side.

He never left me and I often had the feeling that he took me gently by the hand, so that I move forward and find the way of reason.

It’s true that God has always been very good to me and certainly my best friend ever. I recognize, however, that I’m not the best of His children, because I’m a sinner like many others, but I’m sure that He’s the best of all Fathers because He never gets tired of waiting for us with patience, Love and affection.

I remember that very early I felt led by a very gentle force that could not be mine, so I'm sure it was the Divine force. Given that my life has been very rich in all kinds of events, I leave you to imagine how many times I was mistaken and suffered to reach here.

In certain way, my life and my relationship with God has been much compared to the relationship that the smith has with the iron, in which the smith always wins for more that he has to take the iron to the forge, but he only wins by the force and God wins by the patience and Love that He has. It’s true that I've been too many times passed by the fire, but I recognize that God is a too Kind and Gentle smith because I have been molded like He wants, always with some much Love and Care that no smith could ever emulate. This humble confession is intended to share with you my long learning just because I feel privileged with so much Love and protection that God always devoted to me.

I remind you, my friend, that before God we all have the same right and privilege but we all should offer Him permanent residence in each one heart, so that He can work wonders in us and through us, wherever we’re.

While the smith needs a lot of power to shape the iron, God molds us in His way with Patience, Love and Care. This is the great difference that exists between our indisputable Master and the smith.
