THE CHURCH, THE CIVISM AND THE FUTURE

Who is able to look into the human specie past, regardless of politics, it’s easy to observe that the Church always had an important role in the Moral and Civic advancement of the World population. If we’re aware of the World Story, even knowing that it didn’t always report the whole truth, we can easily understand that it was the Catholic Church to propel the great consciousness changes through its Moral position, based on the Divine values understanding.

I believe, that regardless of each one religion, we must concern ourselves with the moral and civic values preservation in order to assure the coexistence of all Human Beings based on the respect for difference. It’s clear that our society had a lot of material evolution, but the part of spiritual research and demand has vastly receded because of lack of good examples.

However, the youth has been winning points in that field and if they haven’t done more it’s because they don’t have a strong structural support, either by their families, and either by the Church itself which I think is still too timid in this subject. It’s true that the Church is made up by the society, and that’s why we all are The Church and we have the duty to make our contribution and present projects to give more vigor and joy to the Parishes. Having regard to the Christian values and the strength of faith that resides inside of each one of us, I believe that we must unite in constant search of the population well-being, and in time of crisis is very important to increase that search, as currently.

Apparently, this crisis is a financial crisis, although, exists as a consequence of the Moral lack, because there’s been a long time since the selfishness and the irresponsibility conquered the power to dominate the world in an immoral way.

At first, the lack of Moral weakens families, but if we think well it’s from the families that the leaders are born and raised, then the factor Civism is attained and the size of family disorder passes to the size of State disorder where everyone is always run over and blame each other.

In these times of institutional fragility in which it’s evident that absolute power leads to disaster, it would be good if we all think about being more present in crossover debates and prepare to take decisions because if we don’t do it we can only have the right of singing "Fado" and mourn it.
